FALL SOCCER (AUGUST-NOVEMBER)

Registration for the fall season is typically in April and Soccer Skills Evaluations are typically in June. The Soccer Skills Evaluations are a professionally run and impartial assessment package used to best place children on teams in the Fall so each player can get the most from their experience with the club. The Player Evaluation scores are also used to place each player on either a Classic (A team) or Rec Plus (B team) at the U14 level. The teams are age and gender specific (see registration for the birth date cutoffs). Again, the goal is to form balanced teams in order assure the best possible soccer experience.

During the fall outdoor season, there are 8 league games, half played at "home" at Town Woods in Old Lyme and the team may travel to several of the surrounding towns for games. The LOLSC also encourages each coach to enter their team in one or more of the many regional soccer tournaments.

The LOLSC Director of Coaching and Parent Coaches will help each child develop to his or her potential.

The Lyme-Old Lyme Soccer Club can not guarantee that we can field a team for each age group presented or that there will only be one team per age group. We have set limits on some team sizes and waitlists may form. After the registration deadline, we will work to ensure a balance of kids and teams to try to ensure that all kids signed up, including waitlists, can be on a team. Thank you for your support of our program.

In addition, the following waiver has been furnished, signed and is required for all families and children participating in any Lyme-Old Lyme Soccer Club programs: In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in any program, event, or activity sponsored or authorized by Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, Inc. and/or any affiliated member, I the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: I am aware there are risks to me of exposure to, directly or indirectly, arising out of, contributed to, by, or resulting from an outbreak of any and all communicable diseases, including but not limited to, the virus “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and/or any mutation or variation thereof. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE CONNECTICUT JUNIOR SOCCCER ASSOCIATION, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATED MEMBERS, and their respective officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct any program, event, or activity (RELEASEES), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any ILLNESS, INJURY, DISABILITY OR DEATH I may suffer, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
